Jennifer Menassa Kirwan, is Principal and Owner of Menassa Architecture, LLC.  She has practiced architecture for over 19 years throughout the Washington DC area.

Jenny received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from East Carolina University in 1994 and her Masters of Architecture from the University of Maryland in 1999, where she graduated with high honors.  She worked at Allies and Morrison Architects in London upon graduation and returned to the United States in 2000 for a position at Lucas Associates in Baltimore.  From 2002 to 2005 she was employed at Muse Architects in Washington, DC, and then Cox, Graae + Spack Architects from 2005 until 2014.  In 2014 she established her own business, Menassa Architecture, which focuses on residential and commercial architecture.

Jenny is known for her ability to listen to her clients and respond with thoughtful unique design solutions which meet and exceed her clients’ needs and expectations. She approaches every project with a belief that the most successful architecture responds to its context and improves the client’s quality of life.

Jenny resides in the Washington, DC area with her family.  They spend much time during the year at their family retreat at Deep Creek Lake, Maryland, and Jenny has expanded her practice to working in the Garrett County, Maryland area.
